Mr Ramesh underwent his higher surgical training in Orthopaedic surgery in the South East Thames region including Guy’s & St Thomas’ hospitals in London and completed a fellowship in Preston / Chorley hospitals. He was entered on to the Specialist register for Orthopaedic surgery in 2005. Mr Pal Ramesh was awarded the prestigious international American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society’s (AOFAS) travelling fellowship in 2007 and DePuy travelling fellow in 2006. This allowed him to visit and train with a number of Foot & Ankle surgeons within North America including Columbus, Galveston, Houston, Minnesota, Toronto, Rochester, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore.

Ramesh is involved in clinical research and academic development and has presented his research at Orthopaedic conferences both nationally and internationally. The recent one being AOFAS conference in Florida 2013, where he delivered an invited lecture on midfoot tendon pathology.
